Can this drill guide be laid on its side to drill accurately parallel to the tabletop into board edges? Woodpeckers Auto-Line Drill Guide
I need to make an accurate horizontal drill guide. Can this unit be laid on its side so that the drill runs parallel to the tabletop? Basically so you can drill accurately into the edge of long boards. It appears that the upper and lower aluminum slabs are in alignment, but not sure.
