Why are blade stabilizers not made for chop/miter saws, and will a 6" stabilizer fit a compound dual‑bevel miter saw? Amana Tool STF-6 Pair of Blade Stabilizers 6 D x 1 Inch Bore

I have a new compound miter saw on order and want to stabilize thin kerf blades. However, I keep seeing "not for chop saws" when searching for stabilizers.
1. Why seemingly no stabilizers for chop/miter? What's different?
2. Will your 6" work with a compound dual bevel miter saw?

Dear Bob,

The reason is because

1. Stabilizers cause conflicts with the design and operation method of a chop saw.

2. It should work as long as the bore matches what your saw uses :)
