Recommended speeds and feeds and depth of cut for brass? I need to cut numerals from 0.031 thick brass. The first two snapped before the first numeral was finished. My doc was 0.017, feed 35 ipm, plunge 10 ipm, spindle 24,000 rpm, step over 10%. Using CoolTool II for lubricant. Thanks for any guidance.
