For your application we suggest that you try our PCD compression bit number DRB-208 which will last a lot longer.

1/2" carbide compression bits last only 20-30 sheets of double-sided melamine — any better bits? Solid Carbide Compression Spiral Bits for CNC Nesting Operation
I run a nester cnc and 80% of the material I use is melamine on both surfaces. We have tried 3 different types of carbide 1/2 in compression bits and can't seem to get more than 20 to 30 sheets per bit. Is this common or do you have a bit specifically made for this type of material? Have you had any feedback from customers on this?
