Use two mounts instead of stock plate to hold MM-1000 DI spindle with ATC for a more rigid setup? Stepcraft Mounting Kit Spindle MM-1650 for M-Series

If the only difference from the stock mount is the stick out distance, couldn't you use 2 of these to hold the MM-1000 DI spindle with Automatic Tool Changer attachment? The goal would be to have a much more rigid mount for the spindle and get rid of the stock plate that just mounts to the bottom of the Z-axis column and the need for spacers.

Dear Z,

This unfortunately is not the case. This mounting kit may only be used for the MM-1650 for M-series machines.
