Can machining achieve ±0.002" placement accuracy for guitar fretboard slotting? STEPCRAFT New 3rd Generation D.840 CNC Machine System

How accurate are these machines as far as position changes? So, for example, if I want to make a slotted fret board for a guitar, the slots need to be positioned with a minimum placement accuracy of two thousandths of an inch so the guitar will intonate properly. I've seen many very old, coveted guitars with the fret board cut so the guitar does not intonate properly!

The Stepcraft-3/D.Series is capable of +/- .0019" repeatability. The D.Series should be capable of producing good results for this customer, provided the machine is built properly and backlash (if any) is compensated for.
