Dear Wayne,
Any time you experience less than 100% removal of the material from your table, it would slightly affect the capability and effectiveness of your vacuum table. We have not had this issue with this AirWeights system which is a good thing :)
For spoilboards, we recommend and use 3/4" plywood as a good and nice thickness spoilboard.
