The max recommended speed for these bits is 3,600 RPM
CNC bit speed and flute length for 1.5+ in hardwood clearance holes (9/16–5/8) on 5K spindle Carbide-Tipped Forstner Bits
What is the recommended speed the bits should be run at I have clearance holes in a hardwood part that is over 1-1/2 deep to mill out on CNC with min speed of 5K spindle. Most router bits don't have that amount of flute length. My preferred size would be 9/16 but I could go to 5/8. I can also predrill with any drill 1/4 or larger. I used a 5/8 in a drill press to do prototype but I want to do it all on the machine
