Unfortunately our counterbores cannot be used on concrete.
Counterbore for 5/32" shank to recess 1/2" hex head while drilling 3/16" Tapcon hole in concrete Flat Bottom Counterbores with Slow Spiral, HSS M2 Fully Ground Drill Bits
1/4 Tapcon bit has a 5/32 shank and cuts a 3/16 wide hole. I want to drill the concrete and simultaneously counterbore in wood (2x4) to recess the tapcon's hex head but I see no counterbore that will accept a 5/32 shank and cut an approximately 1/2 counterbore . Is the counterbore tool hollow all the way down so I can set my drill depth also? Not sure if the shank in the table the shank diameter of the drill bit or the tool? Thanks for the help.
