Finished labyrinth size, steel ball & bit used, and how to scale/create Shapeoko toolpaths Maze Game CNC Plans, Downloadable and Customizable
First off, thank you for an inspiring project. I would very much like to create this labyrinth for my grandchild. But as shown, the final product appears to be somewhat oversized (and on the weighty side) for small hands. While you state that dimensions may be scaled, this leaves me wondering what the net size of your finished product - and the size of the steel ball - were, as this, and the carving bit actually used, will decide if my (smaller?) replacement ball will travel smoothly along the grooves in "downsized" wood. As I humbly understand, the DXF-files in the downloadable files, will play with Vectric stuff but will not include toolpaths for my Shapeoko machine - and I hate to pay for guesswork. Please do your best to let me get this to work for my grandchild's small hands.
