Conflicting chipload/feedrate recommendations for Amana 46180 on 0.5" Baltic birch at .22" DOC CNC Solid Carbide Compression Spiral Bits - 2 Flute
In the video you state that the tool cuts just fine at 18k rpm and 120ipm (which I believe I run downcut .125" spirals at 132 ipm with a .26" doc) now under the product listing on your website according to the chipload chart Amana is stating under Veneered plywood a chipload of 0.012"- 0.014" at 18k rpm and x1D which is a feedrate of 432 ipm (for 0.012") and 504 ipm (for 0.014") so that being said if we drop the chip load by 25% due to the .22" DOC (because of the upcut length we arrive at .009" and .0105" with a feedrate of 324 ipm - 378 ipm I just don't understand what to believe here and at 50.00 a pop we can't afford to be breaking a bunch while trying to dial it in and under a question on here you state for a .25" DOC to run at 18k rpm and 90ipm .0025" chipload I dont understand all these conflicting chipload values I am running the 46180 tool in .5" baltic birch with a .22" DOC
